Once I added mediation into my daily routines, the next step was to improve my mindset using subliminal messages from my meditation cd download. I wanted subliminal messages built into my meditation music, so that certain parts of my subconscious could be changed for the better.
There are many subliminal messages that I use during my relaxation meditation sessions. I have found that the following 3 have noticeably helped a particular negative mindset I used to have.

SELF DISCIPLINE: In the past, I struggled to finish things I started due to a lack of self discipline. Many projects, routines and other commitments were started and then forgotten about. Positive self discipline subliminal messages built into my meditation audio have gradually helped me keep my focus on sticking with my plan and getting results from the projects and commitments that I start. Some of the positive affirmations that I found particularly helpful were “I finish a project I start”, “I always push myself to my limit”, “I am highly focused on anything I work on” and “I stay committed when things get tough”.
STOP SMOKING: I was a moderate smoker (1/2 pack a day) for 10 years and tried everything to quit (cold turkey, the patch, prescription drugs, laser therapy). I was able to quit for up to 3 months at some times, but eventually I went back. What I now realize, is that although my physical cravings were able to be overcome through the traditional methods of quitting, my psychological addiction was far worse. I had feelings of dependency, I thought I enjoyed smoking and I could not imagine my life without smoking a cigarette. Now, having quit for 3 years and not even considering smoking another cigarette, it seems like it all stemmed from my subconscious thought. I found that the positive affirmations that really worked were “I have quit smoking forever”, “I always resist the temptation to smoke”, “I breathe easier and feel healthier each day” and “my will power is rock solid”.
MOTIVATION: Being self-employed, my motivation is key to me earning an income. There were times when my entire work day consisted of social networking sites, watching movies and any and all other types of procrastination. Consciously, motivation is difficult to work on as it is difficult to pinpoint the factors inhibiting your drive to succeed. However, I found that working on my motivation subconsciously, helped improve my conscious efforts for staying motivated. The positive affirmations that really worked for me were “I always finish any task I start”, “I always take action when I need to”, “I enjoy working hard and getting things done” and “I focus fully on the task at hand at all times”.

Some of the things I didn’t like about the meditation cd download with subliminal messages were that some of the same positive affirmations were repeated but in different words, instead of having unique affirmations. But thinking about this more, it might be why subliminal messaging works – having the same thing repeated in different ways to your subconscious. Another thing I didn’t like was that the tracks were too short for my extended meditation sessions. I have a very old MP3 player that will not repeat a track, so I had to come out of my meditation to replay the track.
